Give him the gift of time. Spend some time with him and go shopping. Take notice of things that he is interested in. If it it within your price range go back and buy it. If not do something romantic together. Go see a Christmas parade or some downtown decorations etc. Sing some Christmas carolls together. If he is having a really good time and he values this time spent together then the material gift will be secondary. If you give him his gift a day or so early at the end of the date and explain that is all you can afford right now he will understand.

Maybe there is a movie he really loved, how about buying him the dvd. Or a cd of his favourite band.
Take him out for the day and buy him a pizza or something , your treat and just have fun.:)))

clothes ... a t-shirt or somthing like that .... or some booze! .... my brothers 19 i always buy him a dvd so mabye that will work too .... theres so many things you can get for about £10 thats not much but i recon its an ok preezzie if your a bit short on cash!

whatever you get him im sure he will love it but you could make him a candle lit dinner and u could buy a nice sexy nighty or underwear.memories are so much better to have then material things.
