I ususally color my own hair. but speaking from lots and lots of experience......it's not a good thing to play around with red. unless you are going for a much darker color, I would goto a beauty salon and let a professional do it for you. depending on the condition of your hair it "should" be okay to go ahead and color again, although your hair will sustain some chemical damage. it's just hard to bounce around to different colors from red. it bleeds over into the new color. let a pro handle it for you.

Is the red natural? Otherwise, wait at least six weeks or see a professional hairdresser.

I've also heard that if you use cheap shampoos it will strip the color. I've never had this problem; I can never get red to stay in my hair. I definitely wouldn't dye it again yet--too damaging.

Well i personally don't know... however my cuz goes to get her hair dyed very often... just recently she didn't like how it looked on her, so just 1 week later she went back and dyed it a different color... and her hair is still in good condition... but idk, that could just be my cuz.

What ever you like. Either color is good.
