My cat is deaf, but can she hear certain sounds???

My cat is deaf but i have noticed certain sounds seem to get a response from her. Can she hear certain things???

I HAD a deph dog and she coul not hear anything, take her to the vet, my vet said it depends on how bad it is. like some can hear very soft sounds, it just depends on how bad it is! hope i helped!:)
