My thought, first "god" is more of a posistion like president then an actual being, he has a name its so sacred we don't know it so we the posistion like "mr president". Also, I beleive families can be together forever, if that's the case then it is Very possible God (as a man) is married. So is it possible that God is both. a man and a woman. Two different people married under the same title. The Bible only mentions the Man to protect her and keep her sacred so no-one will call to her in vein or mock her. After all which gender is more of the creator? The women if you ask me.

God has no form. He has no shadow. There is nothing in comparison to Him. He has neither wife nor child. He is neither darkness nor light. He is not like the sun, nor the moon, nor the stars. God is one power, a power which is able to control and subdue all other powers. From the single atom to all of the universes, this is a power which is intimately mixed within all things. It has nothing, no shadow, no aid. It is the One who is alone, the Original One. It is a point, a power, which has neither beginning nor end. There is no language for it, nor does it have a religion. It does not possess a race; there are no colors in it, no black or white. It is a power, a point which is within every creation.
It has no mouth, no tongue to speak, yet through our mouths that power is speaking. It has no eyes, yet it is observing through our eyes. It has no ears, yet it replies to the sounds that we hear with our own ears. It has no nose, but it senses fragrance through our sense of smell. It has no hands, but that power makes our hands the agency for giving and receiving. It has no feet or legs, but it walks throughout all the universes. Such is that power.
The mind cannot see this power. The mind has the form of a demon. Earth, fire, water, air, and ether are the form of this demon. It is the essence of the elements, the form of spirits or vapors, the form of desire and illusion. Therefore, mind and desire cannot see or pray to God. God is that treasure which transcends mind and desire. If we want to see that treasure and realize it, then we have to understand ourselves. Only wisdom can understand that treasure, and if we want to realize God, then we must acquire His qualities within ourselves. Those qualities create a different form within us, the form of His beauty. God can never he seen. It is God's qualities which are His beauty, and the light which radiates through those qualities is His power. Those qualities are His form and that light is His power. That is God.

The One True God is Unknowable.
The Holy Spirit, His primal creation, is perfect beyond any gender.
The human soul, after leaving the body, takes the living form of no gender.
We need to read the teachings of the Divine Messengers of the One True God to discover His unfathomable mysteries.

God is spirit. When the bible was written God showed Himself to those who wrote the bible as male. He used the culture of that day to assert His Holiness. God is neither male nor female. (God the "Father") however Jesus is male, (Jesus was fully God and fully man, now fully God and fully man) and He identified with Himself being the Son of the Father.

God has no gender. doesnt mean whatever you're probably thinking now.
because He's God, and it's the same meaning as god mode and EVEN more in those video games , so He has the power to be any thing shape He wants.
and we use He like as the male connotations are the more used ones. like general terms yea?

Gender is a necessity of a physical body.
God is spirit. Spirit does not have any need of a body.
God is the great mother father creator of all.
Perhaps a bit More Mom than dad.
Love and blessings Don

God is male in every sense of the word and this is supported by all the scriptures. To bring Jesus Christ into the world required a Holy Father in its truest sense.

If God is God...He doesn't need to procreate. So, it is entirely possible that the masculine form of picturing Him was for the people. Men are leaders, in most cases. An I am not a chauvinist.... just observing

If God exist, I would think a being like this would be beyond such a petty human trait as gender.

Here is my philosophy. IF there is a god, I dont use that word myself though, IT is an energy. IT is not male or female the way we think of male and female, IT is not black or white.
My father once said to be that "god" is another word for faith in oneself. Everything (water, air, animals, trees, people etc) has "energy" so that is why "god" is everywhere.
In the bible, the term "he" is used because MEN wrote it. That's pretty typical of men isn't it?
