it is an .AVI file, and will let me watch it perfect with windows media, but there no sound whatsoever. In the same folder there is a .idx and a .sub file. The movie is in english but I cant hear any sound. I eventually want to burn it but if anyone knows a simple way of bringing the sound back I would appreciate it!

if its a avi file you'll have to download the right codecs to be able to get sound and picture too, i recommend getting the divix player, because they have the codecs for avi files to work
i think you can just go to www.divix.com
if thats not right just go to a search engine and type in divix player its easy to find.
