If your at an Airport waiting to board a Flight and you hear Muslim praying would you fly???

Personally if I was already on the plane and heard some Muslim mummbling going on, I would of hit the eject seat button before take off.

I am Muslim, a U.S. Citizen, a white male, and I too pray. Would you board if you heard me praying? Maybe you are just too caught up by the color of someone's skin? The ignorance in this country, represented best by yourself is unbelievable. Muslim's pray because they have a belief in God. They believe in the same God that you read about in the Bible from the Old Testament; The same God that created the Heavens and the Earth; The same God that created YOU. Whether you choose to believe that or not, is your problem. Do your research. Do not judge other people, and don't let the news and especially the worst President this country could have asked for, let you believe the Islamic faith is the cause of terror in the world. I fly 150,000+ nautical miles per year on business, and probably travel ALOT more than you ever will, and I don't see other people afraid. People get on with their lives despite the fears, not letting that stand in the way of what they're trying to do. How about you do the same! You show prejudice and I am embarrassed for you. Its embarrassing to hear someone give an opinion when they are not educated. Go get an education and respect others for what they choose to believe, or if they choose to pray in public. Just board the plane and mind your business.

Yes , same as if I heard a catholic nun or priest, or a Rabbi praying. The airlines and the TSA were absolutely wrong in removing the men from the plane. The airlines and TSA's only reason was some white poeople who saw someone who did not look like them or act like them and were ignorant enough to think that just because the men were different they were terriorists. This country has not changed since all of the Japanese Americans were rounded up during WW-II and hearded to camp, soley because they were Japanese. We still live in a very discriminatory society.

As I read the news account, which we all have to rely on for the full story, the men had no checked luggage and they and their carryons had all been screened. So what could they possibly bring on the plane to harm anyone with.

I hope that they Muslim men sue and win their cases.

I'd still fly. I work at an airport and I see them praying all the time. I've also heard a woman praying the rosary with her kids and someone chanting. I think that prayer is powerful regardless of your faith. For people who are not familiar with the Muslim faith, I could understand their fear and hesitation. But I also think that it we spent just 10 minutes reading up on their religion, we'd be less likely to judge as we do. We need to respect other cultures. Especially here in the USA! What a great nation!!

I have personally seen Muslim people praying at various airports around the world (post 9-11),people who were about to board the same flight as me, and I never changed my flight and I have no problem with it. I mean, freedom of religion means all religions, and to me, to assume that they are terrorists simply because they are Muslim is racial profiling.

my counter question to you would be , if you were praying silently moving yr lips or mumbling something , and if any of your co passengers were to report you or off load you from the flight , how would u feel?
nowadays even whites have converted to islam, blacks too like Mohammed ali( the boxer) and others.
so religion may not be the issue. Accepted muslims form the majority of terrorists ( maybe even upto 99 % ) , but still i would say suspicious behaviour would be a good ground rather than somebody praying .Ultimately we all are human beings and most of us would like to live long. better to be practical rather than emotional.

There are crazy Christians out there too (like the ones killing abortion doctors) I'm sure you would get upset to be equated with them because you are white.

Yes, I would board the flight. Praying is not what bothers me. Suspicious activity and a person running up to the cockpit door and banging on it is what is going to attract my attention.
