I graduated 7th in my class in a class of 197. I was on the Honor Society, headed up several committes, was class officer for several years and a school officer for two. I graduated high school already finished with my complete first year of college. I've been listed in Who's Who, nominated to the United States Acheivement Academy, was accepted to every college I applied to, most of them even admitted me into their honors programs as a sophomore instead of a junior.

There really isn't a way to tell people how to be successful. I think a lot of mine was truly due to well adjusted medication that kept me focused and kept me from having drastic swings from manic to depressed as frequently. Plus, I had a lot of support at home too, from my mother and my grandparents and my sibilings, not to mention support from the rest of my family and my close friends. When you are bi-polar, what you do with your life is completely and totally up to you, as well as how you decide to manage your disorder. Some people can function and some people can't, it just depends on how you want your life to turn out.

I've never done anything extremely wonderful, but I am happily married and I have 2 beautiful children. I would count that as pretty successful.
