Why do woman cry at the drop of a hat?? Cant they control their emotions??

Sometimes it is a hormonal thing that is very hard to control, and overall women are usually more sensitive than men because girls are raised that it is ok to cry and show feeling and lots of guys are not. Little boys are often taught not to cry, that that is showing weakness, they need to be tough and turn the other cheek, which raises men who hide their emotions and put up fronts that nothing hurts them. Think about if a guy cried in front of his friends......they would feel really uncomfortable and their friends don't know how to react to them and think omg what is wrong with this guy, what a wimp..........but if a woman cries in front of their friends, they automatically gather around that woman and want to take care of her and make her feel better. Just try to understand men and women are very different and we have to treat them that way. :-)

I would say that crying is 'controlling' their emotions. Man and women are different so what is controlling for men, is called stone hearted to women.

Its all due to the wiring of the brain, the center for emotion is spread out in many places in a woman's brain, while in a mans its concentrated in one area. Thats why a woman can get emotional out of the blue for the weirdest of reasons.

Take changing a flat tire. A man doing so in the middle of nowhere, under the rain, with no spare tire would prolly feel annoyed at max. While a woman would feel angry, annoyed, sad,etc.

Not all women do, However alot of women are sensitive when it comes to some things. What exactly was who crying about?
Some women just go off instead of breaking down and crying, but as for most women we need to cry sometimes, it relieves stress! Why are men so uncomfortable with crying, and other people doing it?
