when some one keeps telling you that they want to be with you and you know that would just make their day if you two were to get togather. on the other hand it would make you unhappy being with them at the present moment. but in the future you could see yourself getting with them on a more relationship level
do you just hold off until the futrue or do you get with them to make them happy

I see your point. It would be a lot easier to get together with them now, especially if you like them, but I'd rather wait. It's so easy to give in but unless you know you'll be happy with them, you're really not doing them a favour. You're more likely to end up resenting them and the relationship may go sour. Best to start off knowing that you'll be happy rather than feeling like you're only doing it for someone else.

life is to short to be unhappy. This other person, for the time being, is just going to have to find ways in which to make themselves happy. Just be honest about the situation.
But remember!
When you finally realize that its the time you want to be with them, they may no longer want to be with you. I'm sure you've already thought about that though.
