Why does everything go black when I stand up suddenly? Is it because everything is really black and you only see it when you stand up?

Probably a combination of low blood sugar and sitting in one position for too long then standing up suddenly.

It is what's commonly known as a head-rush. It's generally caused by a slight dip in blood pressure. I've had that for about 7 years now. Its nothing in particular to worry about. Its more common if your a bit dehydrated and if you're tall. Here, have a look at this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Head_rush It explains it well:)

It is just low blood pressure. It happens to a lot of people. Don't worry about, try not to stand suddenly and you'll be ok.

because you come close to fainting, try eating some green vegetables and also stand up a little slower. I think it is to do with the blood flow to your head.

Low blood pressure. Try ayran. Natural yogurt mixed with iced water and plenty of salt. You can probably get it at your local kebab cafe ready prepared.
