I played Baritone Sax in marching band a long time ago. I will never forget it when we marched down Main Street in Disneyland playing "It's a Small World".

Yes, I was a member of the Trinity Prep Marching Eagles and I played the flute...one of the worst instruments ever. We marched in the Citrus Bowl in FL and almost went to Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade but we couldn't raise enough money.

It's been a long time since I was a HS trumpet player. I was also a HS band director for over 20 years though. We took tons of great trips that I hope all of my students enjoyed. We've been to California and Florida to do the Disney thing. We've been to Texas and various other locations. The best was when we went to Europe! Stayed in the Netherlands and traveled into Germany, Belguim, and France. I have great memories as I'm sure my students do as well. It's amazing what a band can do when they all work together!

I am now, a clarinet player, in a small 45-50 member band. We've never done anything too exotic, except for a trip to Toronto for a band festival and the usuall state competitions. But still a blast!!

I was in our schools' marching band for a couple of years. I played clarinet. I did enjoy the trips. No, we never made it to anything as elaborate as The Rose Bowl Or Macy's. It was fun all the same.

Played clarinet in our small school's marching band. Never went anywhere really crazy, but there is nothing that can beat the feeling of walking down the blocked highway and or Main Street with the whole town out cheering for you.

well, i am 42 yo and I was in a marching from the age of 14 to 18. although this is a few years ago, the thrill remains the same no matter the time. we travelled all over the country for all kinds of events and we were proud of what we knew. competitions were hard on all of us but the satisfaction of knowing you had done your best and worked as one was special -there were over 100 of us in the band. it is an exceptional way to learn teamwork and get to know how others live. keep it up

I played the piccolo for 2 years and was in the flag corp for 2 years. We marched in Disney World twice and those were some of the best memories I have of high school! I still go back for our homecoming and participate in the alumni band every year!
