Okay so its about winter time and my hands always get dry and flakey around this time of year. I always moisturize, more than once daily but not all lotions cut it when it comes to dry flaky skin repair for at least most of the day...
Out of all the lotions you guys have used for similar problems, which do you think works the best?

You may want to try petroleum jelly or olive oil. It always works for me.

You could put on a glove after applying the above mentioned before you sleep. When you wake up use the normal lotion that you are have been using. Try this for at least 1 week - you should feel a difference. Return to your normal moisturising lotion.

If persist drying try the same method again or see a dermatologist.

I have tried everything on the market and nothing works for me. I started wearing gloves out in the cold because the cold dessicates your skin, but still my fingers split and crack and are painful. I am trying a cutilcle cream this year so maybe it will help. (I use it on my total hands not just the cuticles)

1. warm, molten Butter
2. Glycerine
3. Vaseline

Apply any of these after washing thoroughly with soap twice a day or more, especially before going to bed. Wear gloves if possible
