Hey Asker PhD,

1. Practice the poem
2. Understand the meaning, and express that understanding when reading
3. Confidence - sells that you believe in your delivery
4. Memorize the poem, and practice it many times, in a Mirror if possible. Give it your interpretive mood -, i.e. if it is sad you can have body language that is sad.

Most of all, enjoy doing the reading!
