yes, my dad died at home with all of us with him. it is horrible to know that every second that goes by, is a second closer to losing someone you love, forever.

Not really, the closest I have been to death was once when my grandfather was having a heart attack and I took him in the car to the hospital, when he arrived he was already unconscious but when we arrived there they brought him back, unfortunately five minutes later he had another heart attack and died. I was so sad because I felt there was nothing I could do for helping him.

Unfortuneately yes. My wife died 2 years ago of liver cancer, and I was there for the death rattle. My friend, you never want to hear that from someone you loved so dearly. I cried for a month straight, But, I still remember her as if so she was still here.

yes and I was with my husband and his family when his dad died. I never saw anything like that and I was shocked it was so scary watching him die and not trying to help him stay alive.

Yes,I was with my mother when she died.I felt very peaceful and serene when she breath her last breathe. Why?Because I had the blessing to play my role to prepare my mother for it.
