Americans wont. iraq`s oil will

2006-11-22 00:01:11 · answer #1 · answered by Jomtien C 4 · 0 1

our president said at the beginning of this whole bunch of crap that the war would be paid for by oil from Iraq.this doesn't look like it is going to happen does it.i don't think Iraq is going to pay us for causing the deaths of hundreds of thousands of their people.this was just another lie so bush could attack Iraq and get approval from congress to do it.so when the Democrats have to raise our taxes to get us out of the mess he created ,the Republicans can blame it on the Democrats.they think they got it all figured out.i don't think the American people will buy anymore of the Republicans crap though.

Through taxes, like we've been doing.

War, unlike social security, medicare, etc, is a constitutional spending of the peoples' monies.

And before you go crying about how much we've spent, consider how much 9/11 cost the economy, and how much more it would hit the economy if terrorists attacked us with WMD.

If you consider that, what we've spent is well worth it. Well, it would be if the Democrats didn't spend so much time helping our enemies.

50-70% income taxes on our kids and grand kids. Elected officials always spend money they don't have, because they know they never have to account for it, there successors will cover for them, just as they covered for their predecessors.
