Those people are trolls who obviously aren't who they claim to be based on their dismal lack of knowledge of the groups they are pretending to be part of.

What I believe is complex and personal, but, to put a best estimation to it, I'm an Athiest, and personally I couldn't care how other athiests act or behave. We're not a church, we're not a community, and I for one don't feel any special connection to other athiests (no more so than to those of other faiths anyway).
it's a tried and tested rule that the actions of one should not be taken as a representation of the actions of an entire group, be it ethnic, religious or political. I like to give society as a whole the benefit of the doubt.

I am a Christian. I am not proud of other people on Y! answers, but I give respect to all, even though I disagree with some, and there are many that abuse the forum. When I see a great answer, I will communicate with them and let them know.

Am slowly but happily converting to Hinduism ! Coz am learning the true essence of life and it teaches not about a single man or a single book but about a universal truth which is very accomodative !

i've got confidence I already stay in a international the place every person has distinctive ideals. simply by fact even people who profess a shared perception in general alter those ideals per their own certainty. My son's Catholic lady chum thinks she's a spiritual Catholic, yet she's pregnant out-of-wedlock. i've got not got a difficulty with that, yet her faith does. See the dichotomy? i'm not religious so morality matters for me are ruled by utilising humanistic ideals. i've got not got time to stay a dichotomous life that proclaims one ingredient and does yet another. we are what we are, human, sexual, curious, and finally, nurturing. it relatively is not significant what the perception equipment is marketed to be. i think of that the deep thoughts of people who're "not religious" are in all probability nearer to the middle of the difficulty of religion than people who profess a shared perception equipment yet abstain from living those ideals. So shop asking those stressful questions, for the reason that's the real answer right here.

Mav don't know why she should state her faith in order to answer this question, especially since the tone of the question is hostile.
Mav does not feel the need to be defensive because there are those out there who make people look bad. Mav ONLY responsible for her behavior.

I could never quite believe in the judgmental, punishing God idea my birth faith tried to get me to fall for.
Never really knew what the truth was or even if their even was such a thing as truth.
Thought that I was an athiest for a while but God was not having any of that. She sent someone to show me that athiesim was not for me. This is how it happened.
Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.
While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.
Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.
I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.
I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.
I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.
Your brother don

I have the feeling this question is nothing but antagonistic, and not worth an answer.
But, I do want to make one comment to you. I do not believe a word you say, as if a Jewish girl is standing by you-which is doubtful-you would never put her down so to call her a jew girl. That is as disrespectful as calling someone by the ''N'' word.
