All 3 sites are free, but photo.net and fourthirdsphoto do accept donations.

www.artwanted.com has a great site for photographers and any artist really. Really low priced, unlimited upload sites to display and sell prints of work. They have lots of contests for members in their forums and opportunities to be displayed in their home page holiday galleries, as well as in their calendars. A pretty large community of many talanted artists that are both hobbyists and professionals, you can have other artists comment on your work or not, get added to "watch lists" so that others know when you are putting up new work. I personally have a website there and often get over 10,000 views a month. To be honest, I don't actually have my work there to sell but as a place to send people to view my portfolio. For 5 bucks a month I can honestly say its the best online deal I have come across in awhile. (Of course that;s IMHO) and all but I would not use them if I didn't think they were worth the money!
