In the first Pentecost Moses was given the Ten Commandments for the children of Israel to obey - that was under the Old Covenant. In the second Pentecost the Holy Spirit fell on the 120 and they all spoke with tongues. - this is under the New Covenant. This is the picture - under Old Covenant the children of Israel obey the law and under the New Covenant Christians are required to obey the Holy Spirit. How can we obey the Holy Spirit if we cannot hear His voice? Jesus said that we are His sheep and He is our Shepherd and we His sheep hear His voice and by extension the Holy Spirit (John 15:11,16). In Revelation all the 7 churches are commanded to have ears to hear what the Spirit says to the churches. Get away from the wrong teaching that we cannot hear God. God wants us and has given us the ability to hear Him. God has given us the Holy Spirit as our Personal Coach so let us begin to listen to Him and talk to Him as He is our Guide, Teacher, Empoweror and our Helper in many ways. It is sad the many Christians have ignored and not made friend with the Holy Spirit who is living in us as His holy temple all the time. Christians is it time to wake up and communicate with the Holy Spirit in you. He has been patiently waiting for you long enough. Make use of your spiritual inheritance!

In order for you to hear God's voice, you must read the bible daily. You will not literally hear a voice but what is in the bible gives you sound reason that he is still with us.
Man is the one that is running away from God, because they choose to live their lives without him....

His word is available to us still in the form of the written word the Bible. Do you realize too that before you had the written account started by Moses you had God talking more with man audibly, but since they started to make notes God has not been audible as much now.

You want to hear God's voice, then stop sinning. What is sin? 1JOHN 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

He still speaks to GW, allegedly.
For once you are right to use "man " even if you mean "humanity"

God speaks in a still small voice. You must be still, open your mind and listen. He will speak to you if you open your heart and listen.

Okay, so you didn't ask a question, you then asked a question, but then you answered it.
Now you're just preaching.
See that "ask" button? Next time you click it, skippy, ask a goddamn question.
