and so your question is what?
couples always fight. If they are fighting about money and sex then that's normal and has nothing to do with their nationalities.

What's strange to me is that you can your dad is Chinese (a nationality) but you say your mum is American (which is not a nationality, it's citizenship in a country).....so the comparisons you make aren't realistic.

Maybe there are tradition problems as well, are they arguing over how to celebrate the American holidays?

the fighting is good for health you know it makes one brave, courageous and sometimes a tough person.
next time if there is fight follow any one

1) calmness :- go on a hunger strike or dont talk with them.

2)violent :- sometimes ths can make wonders jump around and make sounds and say them that you are leaving the house.

3)intelligent :- act like are going to faint or tummy ache (but dont try this again & agan).

4)whenever they start fighting go out and call uor neighbours to stop them.

try al yhis and tell me what happened!!
so tight up uor belt for a MISSION IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!!

I'm American and my wife is Chinese. And I just shut up, for the name of God and to get peace. The last word must be her.
If I don't say anything the "conversation" stop. But She knows - she is wrong and say Sorry. Not big deal.
Somebody has to give up - OK
Bye

Unless they are fighting about the Chinese/American issue, then i think it is more to do with the fact that it is two people who i guess just don't get along anymore.

All parents fight!! Everybody does-unfortunatley we aren't perfect we all make mistakes. If possible go into Another room or go out whilst they are fighting because it's not a nice environment for you to be in.

it does not matter what nationality people are be it English Chinese American, etc.... all parents fight at some point...it's a pity that your around to see this...try to avoid it if you can....or have words with both your parents and tell then how it makes you feel....tell them it makes you very unhappy to see them that way...maybe if you did this then they would consider your feelings when they fight again...bless you

That's a major league bummer in ANY nationality. You know, right, that it'snot your fault and there is nothing you can do to change their behavior EXCEPT to tell them how much the fighting bothers and upsets you? Can you tell them that? If you can't say it, can you put it in a letter to them. They need to grow up and smell the coffee and realize they are doing a grave dis-service to you.

Hey

At this point in time, you should understand that how much they may be fighting, they are still in love.
secondly, you should always learn to see positive things/aspects of life. Otherwise, these things may make you completely Negative oriented.
You should always try to make yourself positive, otherwise you will loose right direction in life and you will loose your future.
You are the one who is going to make your own life.
You cant tell them not to fight.
Just learn from this incidence and try not to repeat their mistake.
Again, try to go to mom and dad individually, and tell them how much it disturbs you when they start fighting.
They may feel bad for your condition and lessen all that for you.
