So I dated this girl, went out several times, to the restaurant, in the park, and so on... I liked her a lot and she understood it very clear... The ting is that I don't get the same vibe from her, even if she realy enjoys spending time with me. So when I told her that I like her very much and that I would like to be more than friends with her, she replied that she is only looking for a friend, not a relationship. We're both mature people and I am confident that I did the right thing speaking exactly what was on my mind. Her answer was not what I expected and I decided it'd be best if I stop seeing her because what I wanted from her was far from what she wanted from me. Was I right?

sam: I can't be friends with a woman if I love her and dream of her as my lover... It would realy hurt me to see her with someone while I was just her "friend"...

yes u did the right thing its always better to go thru life without thinking of what ifs.........if u feel u need to do something u do it before the moment goes and u spend the rest of ur life wondering about something u cant do over again.........

well maybe she just truly sees u as a good friend, or a brother of some sort, someone she can confide in and trust, but not have a intimate relationship with. u might have done everything right, but if she doesnt feel the same for u then its pointless in pursuing it..but i dont think u shud just stop seeing her coz afterall u guys have alr spent time building a great relationship, so why let it go to waste?try to respect her decision and continue being friends with her. shunning or avoiding her isnt gonna make it better. u'll hurt her feelings and u wont feel good abt it too.

You must not of liked her all that much or you would of understood her feelings and stayed friends. By staying her friend and spending alot of time with her she would of adventually decided that she wanted you too. I would think too if you really had a thing for her you wouldnt of given up so easily. Or were you just hopeing to get into her panties?

No!

You should have continued going out with her! You;d never know! She might change her view about you and think about you as someone more special. You should have given her more time.
