They say the eyes are the window to the soul

Through them we see

the Past, Present, and Future.

In the eyes of the old

we see knowledge and life.

Knowledge of things that were and things yet to be.

We see life as it was, full of love and sorrow

full of understanding,yet also innocence.

In the eyes of the young

We see tomorrow,

We see their hopes and their dreams.

Their fears of who they are

And who they will be.

In the eyes of men we see pride

and a need to be loved.

We see the burden of family

and the little boy yearning to be free.

In the eyes of women we see determination

and a fear of a world full of harsh realities.

We see a mother's love and a daughter's devotion.

We see passion, fire, and a pride from within.

Yes, the eyes are definitely a window to the soul

but just like with any window....

there's something different

each time you look inside.

The fact is that light is invisible, light cannot be seen, it can only be felt when photons in a ray light touch the most sensitive and closest part of human physical body – retina, at the back of our eyeball. The process of sensing light and seeing things with this is incredibly fine and spontaneous. Things around us, as we look and behold, change. They change all the time at the speed of light become new – the present. Light also is a thing in the world, and it changes too. Where all other things may stay at their place as they undergo transformation in their temporary existence, transformation of light is transmission of light in space.

If nothing touches us physically more closely, subtly and spontaneously than light, then eyes that receive light must be important. People fall in love when they look into each other’s eyes; eyes can transmit feelings, thoughts and other wider range of impressions. This is true that eye is the most powerful and effective organ in our body when it comes to express and observe the truth of our being.

An act of observation is seeing in light that cannot be seen itself with eye that become itself invisible. An eye during a profound act of seeing becomes our self – the finest, unnoticed and unobtrusive medium between the world and all that is there in our heart and mind.

Sometimes... the soul is your raw state...which is visible in some people through their eyes...some people dull though...fade with their existence or just arent aware of their raw state enough for it to be visible...others that embrace their base instincts and emotions often are much more likely to have windows to the soul in their eyes...

I wouldn't really say so although you can tell quite alot from looking at people's eyes. However there's quite afew of us, like myself that are able to manipulate the expression in our eyes to reflect the total opposite to what's in the soul. I would rather say that words speak louder than sight. Because you never know someone untill they utter a few words

Quite possibly yes.
I have blue eyes mostly.
They are very blue when i am in a good, happy mood but turn decidedly grey when in a bad mood or unhappy/worried etc.
I also have an unfortunate furrow between my eyebrows that gives me away every time! even if i am trying to be nice!

what lies behind them does yes. Your eyes tell everything about a person often without ever the person saying a word.
