we met in july, our first date wasnt until late aug. the relationship is beginning to blossom, he just met my parents this weekend (mid nov).

he's very thoughtful, remembers details about what i like and don't, he's given me chocolates and he'll call to tell me about the beautiful sunset that reminded him of me. this is the most wonderful man i've ever dated.

i haven't done/said anything as nice as he has for me. he makes me blush, and am having trouble expressing my feelings, that i really do care for him.

on the other hand, through our discussions, he's said he wants to take the relationship slow and take time to get to know me well as a friend first before advancing romantically. so his gestures (chocolates, sweet nothings) are confusing.

i'm going to visit his town for a week at the end of dec and we plan on spending time together.

we are 3 hrs away from each other. i am 27, he is 31. neither of us have ever been married or even engaged.

i dont want to mess this one up.

I was the same when I met my partner. He was very loving and thoughtful and I was shy and embarassed. We are still together after 13 years! You may just be a slightly less expressive person. Don't sweat it. Just go with the flow and take it easy and enjoy the compliments. Just because he compliments you doesn't mean you have to do same. He will know if you like him anyway. Sounds like the friendship bit is about him not wanting to rush you. He obviously knows how he feels about you but can see that you need time. It sounds like an opt out clause for you. He sounds like a really lovely guy. Just relax and enjoy your time together. He will let you go at your own pace.

I think he does like you, but maybe he is just doing that now, because you havent said or done anything for him. Then again he may just want to take things slowly after you not showing him any love. He does sound like a nice guy though, but i would take things slowly....!!

did you ever think maybe he doesnt want to screw it up either...why is it the modern day woman ALWAYS wants control....heres an idea. talk to him directly...put your feelings down on paper....talk about what you hope to accomplish and how things are.
ive always felt it was a huge turn on to discover how a woman feels. tell him and see ifyou can work out a routine that wont screw things up.

hhmm.... am 17... but i've been through a lot...
he has the moves ryt? i mean that you think he likes you too?
just look at your bases.... observe him... what he does.. and things like that.. and lastly.. i think it's better if it's the guy who'd do the first move...
just go with the flow.. more likely go with his flow..hehehhe'
