It is offensive apparently to say Jesus exists in the imagination so is it okay to say he exists in the spiritual heart which exists in the imagination.

The spiritual heart exists in the soul. The imagination exists in the brain/mind.

The heart is one of the most difficult ananogies in the Bible to understand. We can view man as a body, soul, and spirit, and break down the soul into a mind, emotion, and will, but the heart is very difficult to place in there. The heart, is the real "you". The Bible says "...as a man thinketh in his heart, so he is." It certainly is not in the imagination as it is the part that dies when we sin, since it is the place that sin originates within us. " The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked, who can know it." As I said it is a difficult thing to fully understand but hope these few thoughts help.

John 3:8

"The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit."
