Of any sport that I have ever played. Golf has been the hardest and my most favorite sport. The pleasure is in getting better because in golf, there are many facets of the game. Also from course to course there are different challenging obstacles. Golf is great if you like a challenge and like the feeling of improvement. However don't expect to be good on your first outing, it takes years of practice and hard work.

The best thing about golf is you can always get better. Even Tiger Woods can find ways to do better. You can compete with others but you're also always competing with yourself. Another good thing is players at different levels can compete based on your handicap scores. And there are so many different ways that you can play - match play, stroke play, best ball, etc.
What is better than spending 4 hours outdoor with 3 good friends? After all the frustration you have in the rough and bunker, you finally reach the green - It's like life!

For me, its getting outside and walking the course and seeing if I can shoot a better round or hit the ball better than I did last time out.
Golf is a unique sport as its the only one I know of where you call penalty strokes on yourself.
You need great hand/eye coordination and LOTS of patience, but its a very rewarding game if you can play well.

Golf is a stupid game...but, I am addicted to it.
I love being outdoors, and love the different challenges presented. Trees, water, desert, you name it, all can be significant challenges. I hate it when I make a bad shot, but can be euophoric when I hit a great one.
Love playing the game with friends, but have found myself hitched up with people I didn't know and we still had a good game together.
With (legitimate) handicaps anybody can have a match with someone else and have fun, making it a true game for life.
When I was growing up my dad and I would play close matches with handicaps, him usually winning. Now I beat him, but again, it's close so we have fun.
The game requires much patience, but it truly is special if you develop the hang for it.

I love golf because I can spend my summers outside playing a sport that I can always improve on.....Its great to be able to challenge yourself to a better game each time you play.....
Hitting a great shot.....a long drive......or sinking a long putt....is what keeps you coming back!!!
Hanging out with your friends and family golfing is a great way to spend time together........
I love the cool clothes as well....style in golf has come a long way!!!

Golf is like an affair. It gives you endless pleasure. The more you do it, the more you either love it or hate it but, you just can't stop it.

Golf is a game built on values. It instills in everyone who plays it enough to enjoy it, a desire to further oneself. It also allows you to get away from everyday problems and focus on some thing else. LOVE IT, LIVE IT
And if your a GF of a guy that loves golf, let him play. ;)

To get away from the wife and kids.
You get to get drunk and ride around in a golf cart for 18 hole.
Its a fun and time consuming game.
Good exercise if you don't have golf carts.
