I think the environment is beautiful. Nature is lovely but we need to stop polluting it so much i guess

Isaiah 51:6 says "the earth shall wax old like a garment." He's probably right! I wonder what would happen if we kept "sabbaths," rested ourselves and the land as the Creator recommends.

I don't understand why so many people are hell bent on electing politicians who want to destroy and despoil the environment.
We rely on the environment every waking moment of our lives. Every sleeping moment of our lives, too.
So why do we vote for parties who want to poison the air we breathe? Who want to kill off all the fish we eat? Who want to poison the ground where we build are houses? Who want to destroy all the forests that pump the skies full of air? Who want to warm up the planet and slowly bake us all?
What in God's name are we thinking?

As a mulim, my religion ordered me to protect & clean myself, and everything around me including the environment.

God has given it to us to use and to enjoy. It is beautiful, and demonstrates God's love for us. One day the world and all that it is will be destroyed and burned up, but while we have it we need to be thankful for what God has given us, use it wisely, and enjoy it immensely.
