Hmm,, if your 'hello' has to be in 1000 words for you I hate to think how many words make a simple conversation for you.

Besides different countries, there are different dialects too! Like:
Hello, hi, hey ya'll, wassup... those are just English.
And in Japanese, there's Oyaho gozaimasu for the morning, konnichi wa for the afternoon, konban wa for the evening...
