After reading all the answers, i noticed that no one has put down Paganism. This is the oldest & first religion, a very calming,non-judgemental,nature based one with no means of war/fighting in the name of Gods & Goddessess etc, like so many other religions fall out over. It is a way of life and has many different paths deriving from it. But, as others have mentioned, no one can say to others what the best religion is as we all have our own personal choices & beliefs.

We can believe in whatever we find most reasonable and like to believe in. The fact is that for thousands of years human beings have believed in thunder, lightening and stones incarnations as their gods with full devotion evoking power of faith. There is nothing in all these things that automatically would give them superhuman powers upon us. But the actual source of excellence in believing is inside our mind. There is no perfect religion in the world if we look critically and judge against reason and rationality. But our powerful ability and need to believe in something is undeniable. All religions can be perfect for a person who truly seeks the light and strength of faith. The goodness is human heart and so is fear both can lead us to religion.
The perfect religion for me, for example, is Islam but if I do not act upon the principles of Islam then however perfect Islam may be it will not have proper influence in my life. I must seek perfection in the path I have chosen for myself as perfect. This is ironic but true. We can understand religion is not a destination but the path we choose, and that perfection is unreachable absolute in existence.

Just one thing is important when deciding this.
What are the motives of the people who suggest their religion's the best.
Research it for yourself, observe the behaviour of some people from each major religion and see.
There is no perfect religion at the end of the day.

James 1.27 of the Bible tells us:
"What God our Father considers as pure and perfect religion is this: to look after orphans and widows in their sufferings and needs, and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."

Ideally, Islam is the perfection and pinnacle of all religions. That does not mean Muslims (those who surrender to God in Islam) are perfect. If you study the teachings of the faith, you will find it is in perfect harmony with logic and morality as well as spiritual fulfillment.

The notion of religion is flawed. Groupthink, in preference to thought and discussion, is a dangerous activity.

the perfect religion,is the one that you yourself are happy with and believe to be the one. if you find this it dosn't matter whether any body else believes the same as you ,you will have the knowledge that you have your own salvation is safe.

I have a rock solid belief and relationship with God. I go to Church on Sundays because I absolutely love singing worship songs! My congregation at Church is huge so everyone sings passionately and starts my week off brilliantly!

Hello, there is only one religion in the world. I cannot believe there is more than one God; it's just that people call Him by different names and fight about that.
