lol - join the club.......... there are plenty of us out there that are sick and tired of people asking pointless questions, and then when we politely point out to them that they are asking a pointless question, they report u....... have a look at one of my questions that i asked last week about all of this....... i received a violation notice for telling a guy that in my opinion, his question was a waste of space...... as u say, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and as long as u are not really abusive when answering the question, then they should be big enough to accept that everyone is entitled to their own thoughts on the matter...... anyway, if they don't like your answer, they can always select the 'thumbs down'. there is no need to go wasting everyone's time by reporting the slightest little thing to yahoo........ just take a deep breath and find comfort in knowing that u are a better person than that cry baby.......

I just got a violation for the exact same thing. I made a statement, but they stated it wasn't an answer or a question. Good grief. Classic case of someone that didn't want to hear the truth. By the way, the statement I made wasn't derogatory in anyway.
I think many people list a question (or a dozen) on here to fulfill their attention seeking needs. Not all people, some have some legitimate questions But the others need to get a life outside of internet land.

Your right, but we have a lot to learn, and just as you would tell a child if you don't ask you won't know, but there are a lot of people on here who get upset because they have a different view to someone else, but that's life, it would be boring if we all had the same views, the ones i get fed up with are the questions that ask nothing? and the answers that are pointless, but that's the human race.
Have a nice day

You tell us you just put a question on here?

There are many people who actually need information about various aspects, sometimes serious ones. Maybe they will get an answer here which may help them. If it saves 1 person some agony be it with thier health, PC or husband. Or if 1 person finds enlightenment then its worth it imo,

I agree there are lots of stupid, pointless questions, just avoid answering them! there are occasionally though the odd question that someone really does need an answer or just wants a few opinions.

Well... there are two types of asking question, first is because they want to know and second is they want to challenge the one that they are questioning. And for that i would agree with you.

For people on here to get answers. The religion and spirituality was placed on here so the "Religious" could have another medium to force their beliefs onto people. They would cry if they didn't get their way.

I agree but not everyone has the intelligence to have a balenced debate or to see or appreciate another person's point of view.
