The present Hindu intellectuals and the rationalists are all products of the colonial educational system which had curriculum specially intended to prepare a mass of slaves. They do take fancy in condemning themselves and join the western church oriented secularists by defaming and undermining their rich heritage. Very few among them make efforts to know their true past and take genuine pride in their rich cultural heritage.

It is out of sheer ignorance and lack of initiative and effort that one has preferred to be in his/her 'paradise of fools'. Those who broke this trend are Swami Vivekananda, Mahayogi Sri Aurobindo, Mahatma Gandhi and M.S. Golwalkar and many others who are not that well known. The present day Hindus feel shy to give their identity as Hindus because they are strangers to themselves. It is basically, a crisis of identity that the Hindu society suffers from.
