with giving me a good put down line? Last night in the pub a bloke was getting on my nerves, when I said the pub was quiet he said it was because people heard that i was giong to be in. I told him I didn't mind it quiet because I liked my own company and told him so would you if you wern't such a T**T. Have you got a better one please?

You could have said you had only come in because someone had told you a giant woman was going to be in the pub. Then, when he looked puzzled you could carry on the convesation by saying at least thats what you thought they meant because they said a large c-nt would be at the bar!!!!

Put down lines are something you come up with on the spot. I could give you the best one I've ever made up, and he'd come up with something to counter it, and without me there, you're back on your own again.
I finally used one today, that I'd made up years ago. A guy at work misprounces a word that he's infatuated with, and finally, today, I got up the guts to say, "You say Tomato... I say you're a ******* idiot."
