It very well could be from the antibiotics. Antibiotics can wipe out some of the bacterial flora that are normally found in your digestive tract, leading to changes in how completely you digest food. Diarrhea can often result, but even if it doesn't, you're bound to have stools that are more watery than normal, or even have a higher concentration of stomach acids present. Stomach acids, in lower volumes, can slightly irritate the skin of the anus and make it itch. Watery stools can make cleanliness tougher, and waste material--even in trace amounts--can irritate your skin, making it itch. Since the antibiotic you're on is fairly powerful, I'd lay my money on betting between the two of the above scenereos.
Here's a couple of things that you can try. The first is to eat more yogurts (which list that they contain live cultures--not all do) or take pro-biotics to replace the benificial bacteria the antibiotics are killing; keep doing this for a few weeks after you complete the treatments to make sure you completely rebuild what was killed. The second is to take a dab of either neosporin ointment or Zinc oxide cream, and apply it to your anus after each bowel movement. This will help to sooth any itching, as well as prevent further irritation. No need to slop it on! Just a dab'll do ya.
Since these antibiotics are prescription drugs, that means your doctor's familiar with the fact that you're taking them... so by all means, ask him or her for any suggestions they may have--they'll probably tell you what I just did, but I'd never pretend to know more than a health professional... better to hear it twice than not at all, right?
Take heart! At least the itching won't last forever!

You could phone NHS direct on 08454647 and ask them - they have trained nurses who will know the answer of the question.
It may be due to the antibiotics, but there could be many other causes, and you won't get a proper diagnosis on here - you need to go through your medical history with a nurse or doctor.
If you call at this time in the morning, it is unlikely to be a long wait.
Hope you get it sorted.

I suggest this service: http://phonedetectives.co - The best reverse cell phone lookup service.
It's a cheap service that works great! It could be used for a much deeper search. You can use it to get hold of different varieties of background reports, and in addition cell numbers, addresses and names.. you can get unlimited reports... I ran with this because I required to verify more numbers.
You can get the name, other phone number, address history, relatives, and much more about anyone! The completly free reverse phone lookup generally doesn't provide anything interesting. To get interesting information, money will must be paid. The free searches don't provide considerably more than what may be found through the phone directory or personal information and they simply require your email to send spam. The reverse phone detective search tool does work, but you should use just the service that I posted above. The last thing you want to do, is pay for a service and find the numbers you want to lookup are not available in their directory.
The service that I reccomend doesn't have any kind of problem , you won't get any bad surprise! Trust it!
Reverse Phone Lookup area gives you additional access to millions of public records, including:
+ Find out the source of a harassing ("prank") caller
+ Research a number that appeared on your phone bill
+ Locate an old friend from high school or college
+ Research "missed calls" on your caller ID that you don't recognize
+ Verify an address
+ And more...
PhoneDetectives - http://phonedetectives.co
Conduct an instant reverse phone lookup. 100% Confidentail and Instant Results!

I'm not sure this is a serious question or not.
It is impossible to know without knowing the name of the antibiotic.
You can go to the link below and type the name of the drug in there and it will provide you with a link to look for side effects.

It's a known fact that parasites can run rampant in a body that has been subjected to antibiotics. Cut back on your sugars and refined food intake and look at having a 'cleanse'.

Do you have any family pets? I'm willing to bet you have worms. It's nothing to do with the antibiotics. I suggest you buy some worm tablets.
This is not meant to be a facetious answer, I have some experience in these matters.

it is possible to be allergic to some antibiotics
itching is a possible sign of an alergic reaction to antibiotics,
but it is unusual for it to be so _localised_
