There used to be.

But then I filled it with a professional career, martial arts and the attainment of Black belt and various other interests like F1 and art etc.

Life is too short to feel empty and sad.

No there is no void/emptiness in my life. Why would I need a void in my life, just the act of waking is an accomplishment in itself. Then I give thanks for waking and continue to give thanks throughout my day. I am not overly religious, but I would say that if I didn't give thanks for what some would perceive to be minor, then that is where I would believe the void/emptiness would come.
