It's used in sweets and savories. Cinnamon powder is widely used in making delicious cakes, pies and buns and at the same time, it enhances most meat stews.

You can use Cinnamon to flavor dishes and fish, chicken, or ham. By using the Cinnamon powder can be added to hot chocolate to give it an added cinnamon flavor.

Depends on how you are using it. Apples sliced and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar -- sprinkle. But something like apple pie, you'd want to measure it.

You can use cinnamon in some savory stews, and it's excellent in chocolate ice cream.

I think cinnamon is most commonly paired with apple dishes, though, and with caramel-y sort of things. I won't even try to list all the things I could use cinnamon with.

Oh, and there's the famous Thanksgiving treat: red-hot cinnamon candies melted in applesauce (-:. This is more cinnamon oil, rather than cinnamon powder.

Oh, and my all time favorite: cinnamon rolls. Mmmmmm!

Its normally sprinkled over a dish like salt and pepper. A tsp of cinnamon would be too much for home cooking in most dishes.

The powder is added to add flavor-usually in baking, but it is also nice in meat loaf, pasta sauce and some savory components especially in the mid-east.
There are also some aphrodisiac qualties. It is said that cinnamon powder is supposed to bring heat to a woman. Isabel Allende (sp) wrote a book called Aphrodite I think that is the name: A Memoir to the senses. She is a south american novelist who is quite the culinarian as well. If you are curious about other ingredients, you might want to check it out.

I just used cinnamon in my pumpkin pies.
try buttering a piece of toast then sprinkle on cinnamon and a little sugar --good in the morning.

endless, I even use it on chicken its great. Put it on like s&p even make a mix of salt pepper and cinnamon
