Hi! My hair is thin too and dry from highlights. First of all vitamin E is supposed to be good for hair and skin. before you dry your hair put in a leave in product like Nexus leave in Conditioner. Blow dry your hair (be nice don't rip it out) Then use a ceramic hair straightening iron through your hair. Pull through a brush and follow brush with iron. Don't get nervous if you see steam, it's just the conditioner. Good Luck.

For dry hair pls try these hot oil massages....they will help in maintaing the natural sheen of your hair and will also condition your hair:

Hot oil massages: Warm 2 tsp. of olive oil and 2 tsp. coconut oil and gently massage every part of the scalp for 10-15 minutes. Rinse a towel in hot water, wipe and wind the hair around the head as it cools. Repeat 2 or 3 times to issue total saturation. After that, shampoo and rinse well. It is good for brittle dry hair.

Hot Caster oil massage: Warm ½ cup of castor oil, massage into scalp and gently comb it. Bind the hair with hot towel on the head, wait for 30 minutes. Shampoo and rinse. As it is home made is so good to use for scanty hair.

Clove oil honey massage. Stir well ½ cup of green olive oil with 1 cup of liquid honey. Shake vigorously. Keep the mixture to settle for a day or two. Massage into the scalp and comb it not touching the scalp. After massaging cover hair with plastic shower cap. Make it air tight to let the heat penetrate, leave like that for 20 to 30 minutes. Then shampoo and rinse well. It is good for dark hair to keep it shining and lustrous.

Take care

As wendy said, a product 'for straighter hair' and soft and silky :P. Obviously dye. Beyond that you'll prob have to straighten it :). Although relaxers should work to a certain extent, try the ethnic ones *for African hair*. I suggest invest in a good pair of flat-irons, and condition it often.

hello there, well i adviced u to visit a salon, then tell the hairstylist that you wanted your hair to be rebonded so that itll be no longer wavy....then if you wanted it to be soft try sunsilk damage hair
repair it has triple serum vitamin in it within 3 days ur hair will be soft take this advice coz ive been using it since ive seen it on advertisements and i know the result,,,youll never regret using that product,,,and lastly after that prevent yourself from using gel spray and other hair products which can really damaged your hair instead replace it with hot oil treatment....this regimen will help you improve your hair

Dont wash your hair everyday. Do a nice long rinse and lots of condiditoner and use a good leave in conditioner. If your hair is as dry as it sounds you can probably shampoo 2x a week and be fine.

I would use X Curl hair straightener it is made by Brocato. I got it in a beauty supply store, it is unscented. Makes my hair so silky that it falls out of a pony tail, and it is not greasy looking either.
