i think god already did when he sent his only begotten son jesus christ on earth to suffer and die for all the sins of human race, to "repair the damage", that whoever believes in him will be saved. god never meant for lucifer to be the bad guy that he turned out to be. blaming god or anybody for that matter is pointless coz what's done is done.

He certainly does take responsibility. He created Lucifer ... Lucifer decided he wanted his own gig, so God let him have the physical plane, and a couple of levels higher. His job is to tempt souls with their pleasures and desires and keep them entrapped in the lower planes. Why? To make certain they are damned well ready to come back home before they start ascending into the kingdom of heaven. Satan really isn't so wicked a creature as he is portrayed by those using him as an excuse for what they've actually created! "Satan" can do NOTHING without God's approval. I'd say Satan is doing a pretty good job. God is pleased. (Otherwise, Satan wouldn't still have a "job".)

Yes, He created Lucifer, and had blessed him with the same gift He has given to you....CHOICE. Angels, which is what Lucifer was, are not robots, but created beings just like us, with a choice. God does not force anyone to love Him. That would be cruel. Don't blame God for the choice Lucifer or any of us make. We all have choice. Will you choose to love God, or join Lucifer? That is the choice we all have now.

God doesnt have trouble taking responsibility for things. The creation of Lucifer or satan (also known as maya) is there for a good reason. When you love someone you want them to be free. (they ahve to be free so that we know the love is real, love has to be voluntary to be real) We are all free to will as we please (though we may not be happy with the results). Satan or maya is the source of our material desires, desires which keep us in this world, the world of birth an death, and separate from God. If there were no place for us to go (no consciousness other than God consciousness), no distractions from God, then there would be no pleasure in the loving relationship that can be / can redevelop/rekindle when a person renouces materialism/maya/satan.

Yes, God has created him, as an angel, who could choose his own destiny and yes it later became the Devil, because he chose the unright way. How, I shall not know, but I do know that he was created like the other angels. Should he?? I do not want to judge God, but what know is that He knows everything past, present, and future, so he must have already known that when He created it. So he created the Devil because he had meaning, like everything else he does to the world. What I am thinking is that he wanted to see if you are worthy for entering the kingdom of Heaven by sending in the Devil and see if you can resist the temptation.

God created the angels with free will as well. Lucifer, the morning star and the left hand angel of God, grew in his arrogance and challenged God. He then cast down Lucifer and one third of the host.
That is happening with Christians and the other folks. God cannot take blame for that is in our nature. The Christians (angels) obeyed God and the others (akin to Lucifer) revolted/disbelieved God.
P.S. Lucifer never became the Satan, but he was satan ' the adversary'. It was the Church that popularised that belief.
Another thing, I'm Agnostic so this is all bullshit and let me burn in hell, k?

If I believed in God, I'd have to say he had a pretty damn good reason to create Lucifer. Divine Plan and all.
Mebbe it goes back to the free will thing? If you only have the power to do good, how would it be free will?
Can't be light without darkness.
