Syriah laws makes no sense, if you are not a muslim. It is obvious that some of the rulings are used to by the males, to oppresses the women. Women's lib happened in the rest of the world but has yet to reach the extreme islamic countries.
I've read that in order for a woman to sue a person for rape, she must produce at least 4 witnesses. If any righteous people were around during the case, they would have stopped the incident from happening. Unless, they are accomplices of the rape and would you turn yourself in.
If the accused was found not guilty, the woman would then be charged of falsifying the charges. What the hell??

Well I do agree with you there are gaps in the system but not the law, we are suffering but we are powerless.
The other point do not think you are perfect I think Guantanamo, and Iraq is a big failure for what you are claiming is justice in US, probably for Christian American but not for other religions????
I think a lot of incidences happened in Iraq and also, against westerns committed by your army but no justice!!
I'm not blaming your law but the application of law.

Ya, some countries have no legal systems, that's why it's so important not to have that much confidence is man, because like a dog it can turn on you, this is just one of the cases that surfaced I would bet there are more.
