My boyfriend blows his nose , I am assuming into his hands, in the shower. It grosses me out. Not that I would break up with him because of it, but I am just wondering at what point men get so obviously comfortable around a woman to do gross stuff like that. geez. i guess his days of trying to impress me are over!

He's in the shower for crying out loud, so the water will wash his hands off. It's not like he's doing it next to you while you're in the shower too. They're already being cleansed anyway. Maybe this is why some guys don't mind peeing in the shower while others don't, I wouldn't say he has stopped trying to impress you. I'd look at this as a good thing. He's comfortable enough to do this without always having to put on a game face. How long would you expect a guy to put on his game face anyway before he can truly be himself again? If you're walking down the aisle and still expecting that, then you're only out for his act and not his true self.

I once dated a woman who had port wine disease (dark red scar on her face), and she was in the habit of covering it up with makeup every day. Once her and I got pretty comfortable, I told her that there was no need for her to put on that makeup every day if it was just going to be her and I (of course she'd still apply it if she was going out, but that was her choice).

Next time you're changing your pad or tampon, ask yourself if your squeeze would be grossed out over that, even though menstruation and nose blowing are facts of life.

whats up, i'm completely with you. i did not even elect to deliver the priority up, yet now which you have, i've got made my companion examine your question. So optimistically that's something that should provide up quickly. isn't it terrible? i think of it relatively is taken under consideration necessary to maintain some modesty while 2 people share their lives, and share a house; you ought to have area and distance and modesty approximately this variety of stuff, otherwise there is truthfully 0 glamour left in life and all of us ought to besides walk around wearing old tracksuits continuously. there are a number of things i don't elect to be attentive to roughly my companion - like bathing room behavior. I do exactly not elect to be attentive to. i've got confidence in the closed-door mentality. It retains slightly poser and modesty in a cramped living area that should otherwise exchange into insupportable. thank you for elevating the difficulty.

everyone has their weird things they do. you just have to get over it because those things aren't worth being so upset over.

by the way, some day you will get comfortable like that around him too... by the time you get married... hehehe....

take it as a compliment that he doesn't feel like he feels so comfortable around you.

i'm sorry but you have to get over that fact of life... you also blow your nose, so you should accept the fact that guys blow their noses too--just that they do it too loudly most of the time! :)
