...that both ways, too - but now they're gonna start laying all of the evil on Richard Dawkins, I think.
Who knows what these nuts will do next.

Anyhow, the question:Why do atheists say religion is illogical but then say freewill exists (which is just as illogical)?
Even the super-atheist, Richard Dawkins, said humans are just biological machines and that freewill to make ANY choice is an illusion. Everything we do has a pre-existing cause that was forced upon us by circumstances out of our control.

I should have said, the question was one posted by some religious person just a short while ago. I would never ask something so.... well, you know...

Umm you say: " I would never ask something so.... " but you did.

You say we will blame all of the evil on Richard Dawkins (it is Richard Dawson on the game show) but you are wrong here too. We are each accountable for our own actions, not that of another. This is why there are no "family plans" to get to heaven.

Just what is a "super atheist anyway? Sounds like some one that does not believe in someone that does not believe in GOD.

He may not believe GOD exist...but God does know he exist and God will arrange for a face to face meeting someday.

Having suffered similar loss, I can appreciate the overwhelming emotions you must feel. It is certainly understandable to question everything in life -- including your faith -- in the circumstances. Ironically, while many find comfort in faith during times of hurt, others experience a crisis of faith in addition to the grief suffered at the death of a loved one. While your using energy to study 'other faiths' is a good use of your time, I caution against making a decision of any magnitude on anything at this point. I see the hurt and feel the anger in your questions and remember being in that place -- not a time I prefer to think about these days. I also remember waking up one morning and looking around my self -- it was as if I had come out of a fog. Things were in my life that I did not like and simply could not remember how my life got where it was and included some characters I would not admit into my orbit had I been thinking clearly. The result was additional time to recover myself after the grief subsided into a managable place in my heart and mind. Answers to your questions: 1) Specifics on the 'contradictions' you question are needed to find a real answer to your concerns. 2) "didnt sound right" again, a more specific question would get you an answer to what sounds like some very specific and valid questions about the BIBLE. 3) Studying other faiths' beliefs sounds interesting -- I'd love to hear about your study and how the things you discovered gave you comfort in a time of crisis. 4) Satan -- I agree he gets the blame more often than warranted. 5) The fact that man corrupted the world is the entire reason for the death and burial of the risen LORD. 6) GOD is certainly not 'blood sucking' and I see no evidence of that in scripture so you'll have to let me know what you're getting at there. Please wait until you are in a better place to make a decision and continue asking questions about GOD and the BIBLE. My heart and prayers go out to you in your grief. I hope you avoid the pitfalls I did not!

Dawkins was a retard if he actually said that, dont think all athiests agree with Dawkins, were more likely to agree with Anton Szandor LaVey than anyone else, but heres a news flash, athiests are all different. Heres what I say an athiest believes in, ABSOLUTLY NOTHING SPIRITUAL, if you cant see, smell, taste, hear or feel it by touch, it dosn't exist. Thats what a true athiest believes.

Why do I accept Richard Dawkins belief as truth again???

Wasnt he the guy who kissed all the women on Family Feud?

I know it was Richard Dawson, LOL

I read that question, but didn't answer it because it made no sense. It says that atheists accept free will, but Dawkins says it's an illusion. That contradicts itself.

That is irrelevant... It's best to call it consequential will, or subjected will...

What IS relevant, is that there can be no such thing as free will if we were created by the god described in the bible.

Doesn't make much sense, does it. If something pre-exists, where did it come from? Atheism doesn't really address that, does it?

Oops... forgot that primordial soup thing...
