There are sites that will show what a certain dog looks like but only if you know the breed of the dog. If i were to guess I would say he is part kangaroo, rabbit & snoopy rolled into one....:-)

Doberman, MinPin, Lab and California Carolina... check out these breeds on the internet... you wil see the resemblance. Also, any groomer could give you a clue, also.

Our "pound" takes their best guess at possible breeds in the animal they're adopting out. Check with your pound where you got the dog (if you haven't already) and see if they made any comments on the paperwork. Good luck.

To me Shadow looks part German Shepherd. Mixed with...Greyhound? Some other fine-boned breed, IMO.

looks like he might have some greyhound or whippet in him. The pound might have some ideas as to what type of mix he MIGHT be but you will never know for sure. see photos below:

He is adorable!

Maybe next time he has his shots you can ask your vet. There may even be a site online that you can find dog experts who can determine what breed he is...maybe this site will help: http://us.eukanuba.com/eukanuba/en_US/jsp/Euk_Page.jsp?pageID=EX

I am sorry that I can't help you out anymore than this..

just ask people who are around dogs all the time, like dog trainers, vets, mobile dog washes etc... i have a mobile dog wash and can identify most breeds in a bitsa dog, from experience seeing purebreds....and from experiencing dog personalitys also...

Ask the personnel at the pound. If they can't tell you take it to the Vet. They should be able to tell you there.

give us a pic somehow...its hard to tell unless you see it. We got one that they told my mom it was half german shepard half husky. I took one look at it- its a half pit bull and actually looks all pitbull to me. Very awesome dog by the way, extremely loyal and friendly.

Do they have that on record at the pound? I would ask them.. They are usually very helpful.. and they usually love animals..
