Psalms and Hebrews....

I like Proverbs and Romans as well.

I like all of them, I might as well say that.

Wow! good question!

Let me see... I think four books about Jesus (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), but I like John because it's written quite different from the other three: John emphazices the Word of Jesus, and presents Him as the Christ in a very clear way.

Daniel and Revelation are some of my favourites too. There could be more, but these are the ones I remember right now.

God bless you!

I always liked Esther as a kid. It was nice to read a story about a girl in ancient days who was so heroic.

As an adult, I find I like the Psalms a lot. Psalms 103 is one of my favorites.

I'm not a Christian or a Jew, but I do enjoy reading the Bible and the books of other religions. There's lots of wisdom to be found therein!

EDITED TO ADD: I like the 4 gospels of the new testament as well. I like reading all the things Jesus said, especially the parables. So much wisdom and truth there!

I love Genesis it is the story of creation and even of today it is prophesy of God's plan of salvation for man. In the New Testament John especially Chapters 1 and 8.Which is the story of the divinity of Christ and his purpose of salvation. Romans chapter 6 is poetic and quite usefull in teaching New Christians what it means to be saved.

Psalms and Proverbs. They go so well on calendars, and they are comforting when you don't feel like reading long verses. Lately I've been reading Daniel while making a Daniel in the Lions' Den page for a children's activity book. It all depends on what I've been reading lately. New Testament - just depends on mood.

OT: Tobit, hands down, because of Raphael and the devil that kills all Sara's husbands to be, and she's just so real in her prayers....although I did like the story of Joseph. His dream interpretations were the shiznik
NT: Luke I guess. He was a physician who also was an artist, and was supposed to have painted the first icon of our Blessed Mother.

I really like the book of Luke----especially chapter 21 where Jesus speaks of the things that are to come in THIS day!----and in verse 36 where it gives us reason to have a peace about it all.

O.T. - Ecclesiastes. Nothing but wisdom.
N.T. - John. This book is loaded with affirmations of Jesus' deity.

Leviticus - A book that tells you what you must do to be with God. And when you screw up, then what you can do.

Ephesians is awesome too
