Yes, there are many books you can get at the library on this subject. It is your subconsciuos telling you what you need to know. Don't try to interpret them on your own. Get a good book to tell you what they mean.

very good question..
Could it not yet also be the holy spirit? ALL the other thoughts, prayers, actions of others affect the winds of a particular body...
also,
subconsciously you could be drawing conclusions, compounding at an aggravated rate.. your brain is "thinking" quite a bit while one is at rest...
I think if GOD wants you to know something badly enough, he might just scream at you himself..
But I am just a weirdo, so that said.. drink a hot tottie before bed, and dream sweet dreams to night....

Well Grey Willow's Daughter, I wasn't aware that so many people are having an abnormal amount of nightmares, maybe it's just some people you know? Anyway we all have an occasional unpleasant dream, maybe it's nothing, maybe it's just a dream?

let me explain according to my science knowledge.
when we sleep, our brain maybe still working while the whole body rests. thus, we have dreams or nightmares coz our brain still working. we have nightmares when our brain's message cant get thru to our body. Hence whenever our nightmare finishes, we grip our hands and feet feel sudden shock. thats because, the brain keeps flooding message thru our nerves to our hands and legs.

Nightmares and dreams are random and Impossible to change. Yes they can reflect your life , fears and likes but no matter what you will have them. I have gone to bed thinking about something and have had it in my dreams.
If something is on your mind Yes you can dream or have nightmares about it even if your trying not to let it bug you while you are awake. 95% of my dreams and nightmares are so messed up anyhow no sense can be made from them. So do not take anything to heart its just a random body function.

Interesting thought...perhaps, if it's a meaningful nightmare. I'd think they'd send a wise-man or a prphet or something.

No, dreams clynically speaking are just the random misfires of electrons in the brain stimulating the memory center of the brain. They mean absolutly nothing.

Nope. I think dreams are caused by things you see or think throughout the day.
