Since this had been hooked up to our new TV a time delay keeps happening, between their lips and the sound, it is like watching an old kung foo movie that has been made over seas. What is causing this? Besides switching it back to reg sound of TV and then back to the home theratre system can I stop it? I stays in sync for awhile and then it does it again! It is an LG home theatre system and a 62 in Toshiba DLP. Yes, it was professionally installed. Thank you.

Many surround sound systems allow you to choose the delay you hear for your room. Maybe that was set wrong or your system accidentally gets set in one of the programmed acoustical setups (like concert hall, theater, etc). The problem might just happen when it switches from regular sound to Dolby and back.

used a optical cable for mine as quickly as I had cable or if u have not have been given a optical cable then it may must be by utilising skill of scart as i'm uncertain what the containers (cable ones) incorporate e.g audio, scart, HDMI and so on and so on
