My hair is all scraggly and definitely uneven, and all the other girls in my school are walking around with perfect hair. What products do they use to get it to look that way?

I don't know what those girls use, of course, but I use products from Bumble & Bumble, Charles Worthington, Jonathan, and Phyto. My hair gets dyed and styled a lot but these products help to keep it healthy and shiny.

Charles Worthington has a line called 'Dream Hair' that has an excellent shine boosting shampoo and conditioner with pearl and silk extracts. Similarly, Phyto has some really great hair repairing products; you can view some here: http://www.beautysak.com/products.asp?mode=m&mid=720

If you're worried about scraggly hair, remember to really baby your hair. Don't use heat styling tools too often (especially straighteners), rinse your hair in lukewarm water (never too hot or too cold), and don't pile the products on. Silk pillowcases are also beneficial to keeping hair smooth and shiny. :)

Every product works differently for different people so you could ask a hair dresser.
You don't even have to get a hair cut just ask for product suggestions that would help make your hair smooth and shiny.

For dry hair pls try these hot oil massages....they will help in maintaing the natural sheen of your hair and will also condition your hair:

Hot oil massages: Warm 2 tsp. of olive oil and 2 tsp. coconut oil and gently massage every part of the scalp for 10-15 minutes. Rinse a towel in hot water, wipe and wind the hair around the head as it cools. Repeat 2 or 3 times to issue total saturation. After that, shampoo and rinse well. It is good for brittle dry hair.

Hot Caster oil massage: Warm ½ cup of castor oil, massage into scalp and gently comb it. Bind the hair with hot towel on the head, wait for 30 minutes. Shampoo and rinse. As it is home made is so good to use for scanty hair.

Clove oil honey massage. Stir well ½ cup of green olive oil with 1 cup of liquid honey. Shake vigorously. Keep the mixture to settle for a day or two. Massage into the scalp and comb it not touching the scalp. After massaging cover hair with plastic shower cap. Make it air tight to let the heat penetrate, leave like that for 20 to 30 minutes. Then shampoo and rinse well. It is good for dark hair to keep it shining and lustrous.

Take care

my suggestion to you, speak to a professional hair stylist but don't get suckered into buying 10 products that you dont need. You are probably using the incorrect products for your hair type. Also a good cut goes a long way to fixing unruly hair.

The universal product in this case would be a bottle of hair serum. Common ingredients include jojoba oil, macadamia nut oil for natural fragrances. Usage over a period of time will get you results but don't expect instant effect

in my case, i use sunsilk hair repair shampoo and conditioner. then while my hair is still damp, i put on hair vitamins from ellipse. (they look like big vitamin e tablets)

after that, i blow dry my hair straight, then use a flat iron, then dab on a little gel to prevent the hairs on the top of my head from standing up.

perfect hair requires a lot of time and money to achieve.

i recently had a "cellopane" treatment to get it to shine well for our pre-wedding photo shoot and i get my hair straightened permanently every year.

also, don't use anything that could damage your hair, especially dyes. hair dyes can really dry out your hair.

the effect on the hair can be quite impressive. take a look at my profile photo if u don't believe me.
