Can you help with finding a free spyware that's not a trial version?

Question

I always get popups on my Microsoft intenet explorer, never my Mozilla. I use them both constantly. I want to find a free spyware zapper and stop the pop ads that pop up with search results about what ever I am looking for. I had Spybot but it was a trial and disappeared after so long. I want one that won't disappear. I do have Spybot 2006. But in order to use it I have to pay for it and then get the activation code for it. I don't want to pay. So any help is needed. Thanks man.

Spybot is NEVER a trial version. You were using some fake spybot that was most likely spyware itself. Download these, including the real spybot.

The first thing I would try is Microsoft Windows Defender. This is a free tool from Microsoft and I find it highly effective. You can find it here...

If this doesn't do the trick for you, then there are other tools that you will have to pay some small amount for that may work for you. All of these have free trial versions available. So you can download and test before you buy.

Yahoo Toolbar works really well, and it comes with Norton Spyware Scan. Also try Ad-Aware; they have a free version for personal use (not businesses) but it doesn't block pop-ups.

do a search for shoot the messenger, download it, download free adaware, keep it updated, spybot is free called spybot search and destroy, I have used them both for a long time, the first one will take care of them pop ups, when you get time check aol free security center, its great and works well. You have to sign up for a free aol email account its free, but you do not have to use it.

I use, with fantastic success, yahoo popup blocker, which comes as an add on to the yahoo toolbar, and also adaware se personal by lavasoft which I got at download.com which is great as a spyware tool and virus tool.
