Having faith is believing in miracles, illogical things, and supernatural stuff, so if you are the science type of person, then you will have to expand logic. For example, having Faith that you will walk on water is faith. And if you do have faith (like truly believe, not some hope), you will. When you say truly I mean has in believing that you wont die when you take a step (if you are not paranoid), So, to answer your question clearly, then yes it does require suspension for logic.

But in some cases no. It depends on what you feel is logic. If you feel that it is logic that there is a supernatural ruler in the universe, then you having faith that he exists wouldn't be suspension of logic.

No! having lack of faith would require suspension of logic as the Bible states that "we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witness" The whole creation testifies of the existence of the Lord and the Lord has therefore deemed man to be "without excuse"
The Bible states that "only the fool has said in his heart that there is no God"

Liddle piggy, you aren't listening! But the answer is for some things, yes, but for all things, no. It's not so simplistic an issue that it can be answered with a yea or nay. You'd have to acknowledge that some things defy logic ... but that's a whole 'nother discussion.

We'll talk at length about this another time.

Rock on, liddle piggy!

"The sphere of religion belongs the faith that the regulations valid for the world of existence are rational, that it is comprehensible to reason. I can not conceive of a genuine scientist without that profound faith. The situation may be expressed by an image; science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind."

Not necessarily. Some people, myself included, consider it logical that we are created beings. Much more logical than "it just happened."

No, but logic is what suspended your true inner belief. Why? Sometimes logic tends to lead or leave us into inconclusive thoughts.

No, it doesn't -- but it does require intellectual strength and courage. Two traits that, unfortunately, many of our atheist friends don't possess.
