I would go back to three days ago before my fiance's mother passed away, and thank her for the flowers she got me. we had a misunderstanding and she came to my home to apologize with flowers, i never said thank you, or I'm sorry and now she passed away and i will never get a chance to. All i can do is putt flowers on her grave and say I'm sorry.

I would go back to my teenage years (the early 1980's) and change a few things. I was a pot smoking party animal and had a baby at age 18. Although I graduated from high school, I didn't go to college right away, but instead got married at too young of an age and it ended. Because of this if I could go back to that time I would have not partied as much, and I would have chosen to follow God's ways back then. I would not have gotten married so young and had kids so young either, and I would have followed my dreams instead. This is saying if I could go back and know everything then, that I know now.

If you mean anytime, even before I was born, I would have liked to be a teenager in the 1960's and been a hippie with flowers painted on my face.

Well, assuming the Time Machine in question came equipped with a Stealth SUV and an all languages translator, I'd like to go back to the first draft of the 10 commandments. It would solve a lot of questions for me.

Still waiting for it to be invented so I could go back a few years and stop a loved one from ending his own life.

How does that have to do with hatred of another group...

I would stay right where I am at. It would get us all into trouble if we went forward or backward and changed something, even the smallest thing would effect us.

If we could tamper with the past or the future, the whole matter of free will and choice wouldn't be in its purest form as it is now.

Part of the excitement in life is not knowing what the future holds. We can learn from the past and just be thankful for each day.

Ray bradbury had a similar story, the crew went to the time of acts, over the time of Jesus.
since I don't know the time of the second coming, and can't go there, I'll take the day J.C. rose - and stay there maybe?

Do you mean to live in another time period?

I would like to quot the great film, 'Melinda and Melinda' by Woody Allen when I say...

"Wouldn't we all benefit from a second go around?"

So yes, as selfish as this may sound, I would go back and start over in my life and correct anything I regret...

...unless I knew the future was brighter :)

I'd go back in time to when I was first dating my former husband. No ill thoughts here towards him...I'd just like to have the knowledge and insight I have of him now and look at him with that knowledge and rethink my choice. Unless 'Universe' meant for us to marry for the soul growth, karmic lessons and experience...if that was the case than I'd go back in time to be in the environment as assistant to Einstein...aside from being intelligent and funny it would be very cool to be around him while his mind was awakening to his thoughts and ideas.

I would go back in time to visit Abraham and Sarah before the birth of Ishmael and try to get them to believe if they would just be patient God would open up the womb of Sarah and she would concieve. And all of this mideast turmoil would not happen.
