I am 25/Male working in a decent company. I had a break up with one girl. Then, I started chatting with one teenager. She was very kind to me, and friendly with me. Two days back she gave me a Mobile number, to keep in touch with her. We had few talks and message. Yesterday Her brother called me from the same number, and started inquiring about me.
I talked to him, and promised not to call or contact again, to save the little girl.
I dont know what happened to that girl in her house. Their parents might have taken all her freedom. Or they might have even beaten her.. (its India yaar)
I need to know whether I will get any legal problem by their parents and brother, because of this.
Is it a big mistake to be friendly with an unknown person?
Please help me. I am confused a lot.

According to legal option available with them against you can be U/S 503 Indian Penal Code i.e. Criminal intimidation according which if you are found guilty of threatening her or her parents with any injury to person, reputation or property or cause her or them to do any act which she or her parents her not legally bound to do or omit to do any act which they are legally entitled to do. Or U/S 509 Indian Penal Code which states that you can be punished for uttering any word make any sound or gesture or exhibits any object with an intention to insult the modesty of any woman that such women can hear or see or if you intrudes upon the privacy of such woman. Now you have to see if you have at any time infringed any of such law that can cause problem for you? What I can make out you have not committed any of these offences as such but you should avoid any further communication with this girl after knowing these legal provision. More so no parent will bring their young teenager girl to court for taking legal remedies against any one for such petty thing which you have done so best course is to close this chapter once for ever.

The part of your plight that stands out to me most is that you say you're forced to live at home without working for two years. Two years is a lot of time, and is time to turn most problems around. Unless the reason is a legal issue where you're forced by law, in which your parents would be aware and surely understand, or if you have a major health problem in which you're disabled, also your parents would notice that and understand. I do not know, and I cannot judge because you haven't said the reason but I have a hard time seeing why after two years you cannot and have not found some sort of activities or employment that will fullfill you. I know that your reason could be valid and just one I haven't considered, but I have to wonder how much of your problem is that you're making excuses not to succeed. Of course, you say you still wish you could go back to college. Well, why not? Why not go back and further your education, get a higher degree and get your feet under you. You would at least be doing something that would give you a sense of purpose and accomplishment.

If you think all to be unknown then how will have friends? But surely leave the teenager alone. Her brother has only done the right thing for his sister. Let her be 18+ and then may be possible for you to contact again.

Because their are so many pedafiles out there which are older guys that prey on little girls these kind of of interactions just are'nt acceptable. I say the only young girl you get friendly with is your little sister even then not too friendly. My suggestion is to try and find that same kindness and friendliness in someone your own age.

A 25 year old man should not be going after girls under the age of 18 . Just because someone gives you their phone number, doesnt mean you have to call them up. You better end any future ideas of hooking up with under aged girls.

If you consider her a little girl maybe you shouldnt have been chatting with her at all. It not a big deal to chat with an unknown person, but it is with a teen girl just dont do it again!

don't worry dear, but be aware in future.Don't try to talk to that gal again otherwise it will become a big problem for her.May be her parents scolded her and warned her ,so if u want her happiness then don't try to talk to her again .If she will contact u then make her understand that what will be the result of Ur meetings.Either her parents will not let her go outside the house or wont let her go alone. So be care full for her also if u r her true frnd.

if you keep phoning, yes they can take legal actions, but seeing as you intensions are only pure they will have a very weak case. if she is under age then you might have a problem.
just forget her and find someone you own age!
sorry man, but things can get out of hand with her(in the legal department)
