dance is an art of space rather than time. what is left after a dance are just traces. a painting, for example, can remain the same for many generations and when looking at it, you may still have the same feelings and view it the way people did before. yes, dance can be recorded, but many factors are already taken away.
dance is irreversible- what is done is done. it moves and leaves very fast that all we can do is grasp the most of what we've sensed.
