I am an asian male, and I hate my hair. It grows fast when I want it to grow slow, and it grows slow when I want it to grow fast. I can never cut it the way I want because it grows back in like 2 months and my mom is tired of always taking me to the barbers. What should I do? I like long hair, but not too long. Something like anime people have, where its thin and wavy and long. How can I get this type of hair?

well its not a specific anime character, I just call it anime hair because its what helps people imagine what I'm talking about. I just want long, spiky hair that sort of bends over, if you know what i'm saying. I guess if you know prince of tennis, tezukas hair is sort of what i'd want.

I feel your pain, since I am asian too, and had the same want back in high school. Here's what I did: since I couldn't make my hair long and flowy like I wanted, I made it look like all those badass anime guys with their long spiked hair. Asian hair works real well with heavy gel in case you didn't already know...
Here's what I did my senior summer year:
-Bleached my hair about three times until it was completely stripped and almost blond.
-Dyed half hot fuscia, and the other half bright red
-Spiked it all with extra strength gel.

I guess you don't want to bring pictures of anime characters to a stylist. It would most likely invoke much laughter around the shop.

he he! my answer is to shave it all off,then when its growing back get spiking glue and spike it! or just let it keep growing and growing then die it green!!!! yeah...oh well! i have a problem w/ my hair looking like anime hair to so dont feel left out! lol

I would say cut your hair to a good length and try to keep it there...i know that prob. don't help much but that is what i would do!!!
