I mean really, all you people out there who think God would intentionaly remain hidden and then punish his children for not believing in him are nuts!!!
Don't you think if you live a decent life God will welcome you regardless of your belief system here in this conscienciousness?
If that is the kind of God you believe in I don't want to hang out with you for eternity anyway!!!

Wow, I have to reiterate that some of you out there are a little narrow minded and ritious (AKA...crazy), I hope for your sake that your God will forgive you for making assumptions on his behalf!!!

I agree with you.
My answer is that God is not egotistical.
No punishing for those who followed their own path and made their own choices. No rewards for those who chose to threaten others with their personal beliefs.

We all live together on this planet, with one creator. We should at the very least....tolerate and respect earth other and our differences.

I guess it shouldn't amaze me that an Atheist wouldn't know God.Salvation doesn't not come by believing there is a God.God is not hidden. No one lives a righteous life it is the reason God provided himself as atonement so that you could live and not die. This is the reason many will perish because they think they know what God represents and they have no use for him therefore do not seek him and miss out on how wonderful God truly is. I invite you to seek God not arrogantly but sincerely and to come to know him not what someone told you or your own misconceptions but seek God honestly knowing that he is a need for all of us he has the answers and he is not hiding from you but is reaching out to you at this very moment. God loves you he is not evil or cruel he isn't hiding he is available to everyone of us. He came to the world and offered himself his flesh as payment for your sin. God is righteous and could not be in agreement with sin but had a plan to save his creation and remain righteous and that plan was that he come to the world in the form of man Jesus Christ and overcome sin and offer his flesh as atonement for the sins of all who accept it.

Good question. Maybe he seems hidden to you because you keep pushing him away. Do you want to physically see him? How can you put all that magnificence in a physical being? Even if you did see him, you would convince yourself you were on acid.

For me, I can feel him everyday in all my circumstances, choices, and miracles. I leave the rest up to faith.

That's Islam. Salvation through works. The down side is there's no guarantee you're going to paradise. It's trying to accomplish and unclearly stated goal.

The Christian path of Salvation has a clearly stated goal. Accept Jesus and follow God will. pure and simple. You do, you're in. You don't, you're out.

It's the same thing your parents tell you. ' If you're under my roof, you're under my rule " Did you tell them to go to hell and run away?

would you mom welcome anybody in house that was a criminal, wicked, or evil when she did not herself support or lived in that manner? How dare you expect God to allow you into his home when you don't even believe in him and mock him. Who said that God was hidden I talked to him the Other day he says Hi! Do you show yourself to people who don't like or know you? As far as punishment goes we'll just have to see won't we.
